Warsaw Orientation Tour connected with Old Town visit and Warsaw Uprising Museum sightseeing.
Enjoy this great opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Poland’s capital. See the Old Town (the Castle Square, King Sigismund’s Column, St. John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square, the Barbican), drive along the Royal Route with its beautiful palaces, aristocratic residences, famous statues and historic churches. See the historical sights of Warsaw – the Ghetto Memorial, the Monument of Warsaw Uprising, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Ghetto Memorial, Grand Theatre, Łazienki Park with Chopin’s Monument.

Warsaw Uprising Museum opened in 2004, and while this remains one of Poland’s best museums, it’s not without its faults – better sign posting would be handy, as would a bit more elbow room; being pushed and jostled is part of the experience. Nonetheless, packed with interactive displays, photographs, video footage and miscellaneous exhibits it’s a museum that’s guaranteed to leave a mark on all visitors. Occupying a former tramway power station the 2,000m2 space is split over several levels, leading visitors through the chronological story of the Uprising.

The city is the location of the Royal Castle Wawel, with its mythical Cathedral and the largest and most beautiful town square in Europe. Cracow is a city complex unlike most others in Europe.
