Starting with Barbican - the remaining fragments of city fortifications, the masterpiece of medieval military structures built in the 15th century, then St. Florian gate which is also the part of historical city walls, next the spectacular Main Market Square with the Cloth Hall - a perfect place to buy local souvenirs, the Town Hall Tower and the precious Romanesque church of St Adalbert, St Mary's Basilica with beautiful and unique wooden masterpiece of Veit Stoss, ending with buildings of Jagiellonian University: Collegium Maius where Nicolaus Copernicus studied.

SIGHTSEEING OF KRAKOW AND WAWEL HILL TOUR price: 35 EUR


altThe tour starts in the Jewish District of Kazimierz, the area which used to be inhabited by one of the biggest Jewish communities in Europe. Then a short drive will take up the Wawel Hill to visit the Royal Castle and a 14th-century Cathedral which hosted almost all coronations and funerals of the Polish monarchy. Having descended the Wawel hill you will stroll along Grodzka Street to reach the Main Market Square - a perfect place for buying local souvenirs, especially in the Cloth Hall which has been the local market place for centuries. The last sightseeing stop will be St Mary's Church, where the famous Gothic a-ltar sculpted by Veit Stoss is located and where, every hour the brave trumpeter of Krakow still calls out his warning.

AUSCHWITZ - visit to Memorial and Museum price: 35 EUR

The death camp at Oświęcim, known as Konzetrationslager Auschwitz, was in fact a complex of camps, the largest Nazi death factory, where more than two million people, mostly Jews, perished. The Auschwitz camp consisted of several units, including the largest one at Brzezinka (Birkenau). Of the millions of people brought there in the period between 1940 and 1944, only 60 to 70 thousand utterly emaciated victims were alive at the time of liberation of the camp - at present, the National Museum
of Oświęcim is situated on the site of the former camp.

WIELICZKA SALT MINE TOUR price: 50 EUR

Over 700 years, many generations of Polish miners created the underground world, exceptional in its beauty, with the rich interior decoration of the chapels - including the most beautiful of Blessed Kinga, the original linings of the galleries and workings, and the underground salt lakes. We can see up to 20 excavated chambers on 3 levels - of those the main one is located 130 meters below the ground level. The chambers are decorated with beautiful statues sculpted in salt. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is on the UNESCO list of the World Cultural and Natural
Heritage.

Meeting point

1. Pick-up for all the tours is at the congress venue – Auditorium Maximum.


Payment for tours

1. Credit card details are required as a guarantee of tour reservation.
2. Following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express.
3. Your card will be charged according to the order.


Tour Cancellation

1. The tours will only take place if there are the minimum required number of participants.
2. If the tour is cancelled by the organizers, registered participants will be notified in time and will receive a 100 % refund.
3. Participant may cancel the tour free of charge until 31st July 2010. A written notification of cancellation is mandatory in order to receive the refund.
4. For cancellations after 31st July 2010 an administration fee of 15 EUR will be charged.
5. No refunds for cancellations received after 15th August 2010.
6. All refunds will be processed after the Meeting.
